MapmyIndia and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to make authorised Aadhaar Centres discoverable directly on the Mappls App. The integration will help users across the country locate verified centres to access Aadhaar-related services with greater ease.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Rohan Verma, Board Member at MapmyIndia and MD of Mappls DT & Gtropy, along with senior officials from UIDAI. The agreement marks a meaningful step in bringing essential government services closer to citizens through trusted digital infrastructure.
The significance of this integration lies not just in convenience, but also in clarity and trust. When users can identify verified centres within a trusted mapping platform, it reduces confusion around service availability and helps avoid misinformation or visits to incorrect locations. For users in densely populated urban areas or regions where multiple centres exist in close proximity, this can make the entire experience far more efficient.
This initiative also reflects how digital maps are evolving well beyond navigation. Increasingly, mapping platforms are becoming access layers for everyday services helping users discover essential utilities, public infrastructure, and verified points of interest in a more seamless way. MapmyIndia is proud to contribute to this vision of digital public convenience through trusted, India-built location intelligence.
