We got really excited to learn about Yogathon 2022 recently (https://www.yogathon2022.com). It is a great initiative by the Government of Karnataka, in line with the Honourable Prime Minister’s vision and clarion call for all to practice and spread the benefits of Yoga. Yogathon 2022’s plan is to go for the Guinness Book of World Records by having lakhs of people join in physically, and reach crores of people digitally.
Our contribution as Mappls to this great initiative, is through our maps & technologies of course.
We’ve mapped the published official Yogathons on the map – and you can use the Mappls App and Mappls.com to find Yogathons nearby, so you can join those sessions physically.
When you navigate to places in Mappls app, not just do you get traffic congestion alerts but also road safety alerts including speed cameras, speed limit, speed breakers and accident-prone zones. Plus you can get trip cost estimates, including tolls. Thus, you can find and navigate easily, safely and most cost-effectively using Mappls app.
Currently, there are about 130 Yogathon centres officially published by the Government of Karnataka. See a link to centres near Bengaluru at this link. We encourage more Yoga centres and Yogathons to be planned and added to the map across India as well.
You can also help spread the initiative to make it bigger and better by posting on the map your involvement: 1) I participated in a Yogathon Practice session, 2) I practice Yoga, 3) I am a certified Yoga trainer.
Share this information of nearby Yogathons and Map Posts related to the Yogathon across social media and your networks, so even more people can join in.
Team Mappls wishes you the best of health always! Get started by using the Mappls App and Mappls.com! Do share with your family, friends, colleagues and community – let’s make our world a healthier and fitter place!
