Mappls MapmyIndia signs MoU with the Bengaluru City Police Traffic Warden Organization for Workforce Management

New Delhi-based Mappls MapmyIndia, India’s leading Geospatial Unicorn providing advanced digital maps, geospatial software and location-based IoT solutions, signed an MoU with the Bengaluru City Police Traffic Warden Organization (BCPTWO) on 29 May 2023. The Traffic Warden Organization has been assisting the Bengaluru Traffic Police due to the unprecedented rise in vehicles in the city that has been causing frequent congestion and traffic hazards. To manage the Traffic Warden Organization’s workforce as well as assist in management of the traffic itself, Mappls MapmyIndia will be providing them with the Workmate App and Mappls App to manage operations more efficiently.

Workmate is a field-force management platform that optimizes staff operations and helps increase employee productivity. The BCPTWO will be utilizing Workmate App to manage the attendance of their 1000 volunteers. This will ensure that the BCPTWO is able to keep track of their employees and volunteers at any point of time, and maintain the most optimal employee productivity levels to keep the Bengaluru traffic adequately contained. 

The BCPTWO will also be utilizing Mappls App extensively to efficiently report and resolve traffic-related issues, and enhance traffic management in the city. Any incident reports or photos will be taken using Mappls Camera, the in-app camera function in Mappls App that automatically geotags and timestamps media. Through this, all incident photos will have an accurate location and time attached to them to further enhance the traffic police’s management of any issues.
