New Delhi, 3 January 2012: MapmyIndia, India’s leader in GPS navigation, is unveiling its next generation range of in-dash touchscreen GPS navigation systems at the upcoming Auto Expo 2012. These in-dash systems offer superior navigation and entertainment features and include a first for India – an internet-connected in-dash system that runs on Android, that allows users to browse the internet, download apps from the Android Marketplace, watch live television in the car, track the location of the vehicle live sitting anywhere, and use MapmyIndia’s latest full featured 3D navigation software with house-level search – Aura.

Other major announcements from MapmyIndia at the Auto Expo include the introduction of MapmyIndia Zx250, India’s first portable 3D navigator and entertainment device, and the release of MapmyIndia Maps v7.0 with unprecedented map details of India covering 4000+ cities at street level, 36 cities at house-level detail, 20 cities in full 3D and 6.3 million unique destinations.
